About Me

About

If you have ever looked at a photo of yourself and felt that it did not quite reflect who you are, you are not alone.

I am a business and boudoir photographer based in Brussels, working with people who want images that feel real, grounded and recognisable rather than staged or forced.

Most of the people I photograph are at a point where something is shifting. Sometimes it is visible such as a new role, a business or a personal milestone. Sometimes it is more internal, a change in how they see themselves or how they want to be seen.

They do not always arrive with a clear idea. But there is usually a quiet certainty that they want something more honest than what they have had before.

I photograph both business portraits and boudoir sessions in Brussels. On the surface these can look very different, but the intention is often the same. To create images where you recognise yourself, feel at ease and see something that holds up over time.

Working together

You do not need any experience in front of a camera and you do not need to know how to pose.

This is one of the most common concerns, and it is completely normal.

Before the session we take time to talk through what you need, how you would like to be seen and what feels comfortable or not. Some people come with a clear direction, others do not and both are equally workable.

During the shoot I guide you throughout, so you are never left wondering what to do. At the same time there is space for you to settle into your own way of moving and being.

The first minutes can feel slightly unfamiliar. This is part of the process. Then, almost without noticing, something shifts. The pressure to perform drops and the images begin to feel more natural.

Sessions can take place in my private daylight studio in Brussels or on location, depending on what suits you best. The studio offers a quiet and contained space that feels separate from daily life, while location sessions can bring a different kind of energy and context.

Who I work with

There is no single type of client, but many people I photograph recognise themselves in one or more of these:

You need professional portraits that feel natural and not overly corporate
You want personal branding images but do not relate to typical branding photography
You are curious about a boudoir photoshoot in Brussels but unsure if it is for you
You have not liked photos of yourself in the past and want to change that
You are going through a transition and want to mark it in a way that feels personal and considered

What connects most clients is a level of self awareness and a desire for something more thoughtful than a quick or standard photoshoot.

Approach and style

My work is intentionally restrained.

I focus on light, posture and small shifts in expression rather than heavy styling or trends. The goal is not to create something dramatic for the sake of it but to arrive at an image that feels balanced, natural and believable.

I work with both black and white and colour, depending on what suits you and the atmosphere of the session. Black and white simplifies and draws attention to expression, while colour can add depth and subtle presence.

There is always a balance between direction and observation. I guide you throughout but I also pay close attention to what happens in between because that is often where the most honest images appear.

After the session

After your photoshoot you receive a curated selection of images to choose from. You decide which ones you want to keep.

What people often mention afterwards is not just the photographs themselves but the experience of seeing themselves in a way that feels more accurate and more aligned than what they are used to.

The images are not only for immediate use but something you return to over time.
